Bold was born out of a simple observation. Too many business owners were walking away from legal meetings more confused than when they walked in. There wasn’t a firm in Newcastle delivering what they actually needed - commercially sharp advice, with real transparency and a genuine long-term relationship that you can trust at the centre of it. So, Bold was created to be exactly that. Bold was created to be different.

Sarah Hovanyecz is the founder and principal of Bold Legal & Advisory. With 14 years experience in the legal industry and over a decade in senior roles across some of the region and Australia’s most respected firms, she brings a wealth of expertise that clients can rely on without the unnecessary complexity that often comes with it.
Sarah is sharp-minded, pragmatic and refreshingly direct. She will give you a realistic picture of where you stand, what your options are, and what she recommends based on your business goals - no jargon, no unnecessary complexity, and no uncertainty. Just clear advice you can act on. Clients describe her as a “someone you can count on” - someone who delivers, keeps them informed, and genuinely has their back.
